In mid to latter 2010 the Army Corp of Engineers will begin a
project to raise the levee at Causeway Blvd. Completion is
estimated at approximately two years and work anticipated to
impact south bound rush hour traffic exiting the Causeway bridge.
This is part of the Corps’ flood protection efforts for Jefferson
Parish.
